Friends Of The Opposite Sex.....Good or Bad?????

Now a days many people claim to have a best friend of the opposite sex…..There is nothing wrong w/ this unless you are in elementary or middle school…..After a while there’s more 2 it than jus being bff’s…..As you get older things change and all that bff talk should go out the window.....Females are more likely to have a bff of the opposite sex than a male…..Females have a tougher time w/ this since they are usually in denial or blind to the situation (Common Phrase: “I don’t look at him like that”…..That has NOTHING 2 do w/ how he looks at you)…..Friends of the opposite sex can create problems in a relationship…..Males get the short end of the stick w/ this since they have to wait like a sitting duck until the female finally decides to listen to reason and open her eyes

Females for the most part don’t think this should be an issue but they don’t see the problems that they help create….A lot of the time they have an excuse 4 everything you say regarding their bff…..Excuses can vary from “I don’t like hanging out w/ females bcuz females are ………..” (NON SENSE) to “ Its not what you think” (NON SENSE!!!!) …..Having a friend of the opposite sex who doesn’t stay in their place can make anyone wonder what really is going on…..Its a good chance that the male that claims to be your bff wants 1 thing and 1 thing only and its not friendship, its what sits between your thighs…..Once the other person in the relationship becomes aware of the “friendship” its just going to create more conflict…..A lot of things will start 2 seem skeptical…..Jealousy plays a big role in this but its only because the other person in the relationships does things to make that person feel that way.


My Opinion: There’s nothing wrong w/ having friends of the opposite sex…..Like everything else there are limits and boundaries a friend needs to be aware of…..The problem starts when the female or male in the relationship let that person over step their boundaries…..Males usually want one thing out the deal and the female in the relationship should be aware of it……Relationships are not for children so if you have to make a choice since you CANT do both


Advice: I know this can be a VERY annoying stage a couple goes through but there’s something good than can come out of it…..There’s a lot of growth and maturity that comes w/ the person opening their eyes to the situation……The best thing to do is be patient with the person…..All the arguing in the world will do nothing until they notice how bad it really looks…..Ur fighting a losing battle trying to change them so don’t waste your time…..Eventually something will come out and u can use it as an example EVERY!!! Single time to prove your point…..Eventually they will understand……..FEMALES!!! Learn how to separate the 2 and you won’t have a pblm….. You should also listen to your bf w/ this since he has more knowledge of the situation since he’s a male and will have a better idea how a male would think or act……Males are guilty of this sometimes…..Females who see that in their bf’s can do the same and try to think like the female and take it from there
